People: The Kajabi CRM

Does Kajabi have a CRM? Yes! It is call People. The People tab is a list of all your contacts. Using the People feature, you can view contact information, create filters and segments, apply and manage tags and perform bulk actions. It is integrated with the rest of the Kajabi platform options to create a seamless tool to automate actions, analyze and process your information.
The People tab lets you manage all the contacts that have completed a form, made a purchase, received an offer or been manually added to the site. In the People’s tab, you can view and edit contact details, filter contacts based on activity and purchases, view the last time they placed an order or accessed their account and add tags to organize contacts.

Contact Categories

People is divided into 3 categories: Contacts, Members and Subscribers.  

Contacts

Everyone is initially added as a Contact.  Contacts are all the people you have information for and include name, email address, date added and last activity.  They can be people who have subscribed, unsubscribed, made a purchase, been granted or completed an offer or have completed a purchase.  Each contact can be viewed for more details like name, email, join date and last activity.

Members

Members are Contacts that have made a purchase or been granted an offer from your site.  They are marked in the Peoples tab to differentiate regular contacts from more active users.

Subscribers

Subscribers are Contacts that have given you information from a submitted form in order to receive marketing emails.

Understand that everyone is a Contact, but Subscribers can be Members and Members can be Subscribers, if they fit the above criteria.

Using Segments and Filters

The more people you have in a contact list, the longer it can take to find customers fitting certain criteria.  The Kajabi CRM allows you to add Segments and Filters to make it easier to group and manage your contacts.  

Segments

Segments arrange your contacts based on a series of attributes.  Kajabi has several default Segments including All People, Members, Subscribers, and Inactive Users. You can add custom Segments that act as filters to easily view different categories of users.  Acting like a filter, this will arrange your contacts based on the criteria.  This will make it easier to view every contact that has the desired characteristics.    

Filters

Filters use selected parameters to organize the contact list.   There are dozens of categories to choose from and you can apply multiple filters active at the same time.  The three parts to a filter are the category, the conditional setting and the value.  Once you have entered the relevant information, the filter shows the applicable users. One multi-filter example is every member who received an email coupon, used the coupon and made a purchase in the last 30 days.  

Bulk Actions

Bulk actions allow you to work with larger groups of contacts at one time using your filters and segments.  You can add tags, register contacts to an event, grant and revoke offers, subscribe customers to an email series and export multiple contacts at a time.  With your filters and segments set up, performing bulk actions is easy and quick for all your contacts.

Tags

Tags are used to organize contacts to provide flexibility and streamlined marketing operations.  Like segments and filters, tags allow you to separate contacts based on specific categories for easy actions for members in the tag.  Once you have set up and tagged users, you can automate marketing campaigns, product launch details and offers to be sent to the members in the tag group.

Does Kajabi have a CRM?  Yes, it is called People.  People provides a great all in one package for your business needs.  There is no need for a third-party system, because everything is integrated, providing one simple stop to manage your online business.  The Kajabi CRM has a simple user interface and provides more output for less time invested using analytics and automated actions.
